Beachmaster Unit 2 Expedition 2000 is a non-profit organization formed for the purpose of finding people who had served in Beachmaster Unit 2 and to have reunions. Membership is open to anyone (officers and enlisted) who has served in BMU2 from its inception to present. Rank has no place at our meetings. Dues are $25.00 per year to help defray expenses incurred with reunions, newsletters and website. |

The 2010 Mini Reunion (Aug 27/28, 2010)
The Officers, Men and Women of Beachmaster Unit 2 hosted our mini reunion August 27th and 28th. We arrived at the unit at 10:30 on Friday. We were met by the Operations Officer Lt. Terry Labeff and introduced to the unit personnel. We had coffee and donuts in the conference room where we caught up with the happenings of old and new friends. We met the XO Commander Steve Hull; the Commanding Officer Commander Brown was called out of town so we did not get to meet him. We went outside to the displays and checked out the equipment and talked to the sailors. The visit was great and everyone had a wonderful time visiting with the men and women of BMU2. There was a group of 32 members and spouses attending the mini reunion.
Next Year - 2011 REUNION SPRINGFIELD ILLONISThe reunion dates are June 23 to June 26,2011. The site is the Crowne Plaza Hotel Springfield,IL The rooms are $99.00 per night plus tax and includes 2 tickets per room daily for free All American Breakfast Buffet. Newsletters
A newsletter will be published every few months with reunion up-dates, news concerning the group. The newsletter will be sent by e-mail to those with a e-mail address and mailed to all others.
